Amodio Fund for Children with the Community Foundation to create a permanent legacy to Gerry's parents. Like the Amodio's, creating or supporting a Field of Interest Fund is a powerful tool which allows you to make a positive difference focused on a topic you feel strongly about. Read more.

On June 9, 2010 we elected our newest members to our Board of Directors. All three bring a wealth of experience in both the business arena and our local community. New Britain caught a lucky break when Arnold Schwartz went into selling copy machines instead of police work. Some 50 years later, we honored Arnold and marked the 5th anniversary of Celebrate New Britain; part of our annual Celebrate Our Communities! award program which seeks to recognize and honor the hard-working, selfless volunteers who truly make our communities of Berlin, New Britain, Plainville and Southington special places to live and work.
