About Our Scholarships

The Community Foundation now manages over 40 separate scholarship funds, which annually award more than $140,000 in tuition assistance. Most awards are to graduating seniors of local public high schools in the Foundation's coverage area: Berlin, New Britain, Plainville and Southington. A small number are awarded to graduating seniors from Farmington, Newington and Wethersfield.

The majority of scholarships distributed from funds at the Community Foundation are administered through the Guidance Departments of the public high schools in Berlin, New Britain, Plainville and Southington, as well as Farmington and Newington. You are advised to check with your Guidance Office about scholarship opportunities.
