Enthusiastic crowd participates in nonprofit workshop 

(Sept. 16, 2009) Sixty area nonprofit leaders gathered at New Britain's ITBD Center to participate in the Sept. 14th workshop with consultant Jane Lennox, “Collaborations, Alliances, Partnerships, and More: Winning Strategies for Uncertain Times.” The series is co-sponsored by the Community Foundation and the American Savings Foundation in an effort to bring critical and timely information to area nonprofit organizations.  A third workshop, entitled “Tough Times, Tough Decisions,” will be held in late fall. Presented by the ProBono Partnership, this next free session will look at the critical financial, staffing, real estate and other operations issues that nonprofits need to analyze as they consider their next steps.
