Development Consortium - Benefits of Membership

Members of the Development Consortium work together to:

  • Promote philanthropy in our communities.
  • Network regularly with other development staff and member professional advisors at Consortium meetings to share information and advice.
  • Plan and sponsor educational and donor-oriented events in order to maximize each member’s development resources.
  • Increase staff and board members’ knowledge of fundraising topics including planned giving.
  • Promote Leave a Legacy, Connecticut, an effort to encourage citizens to make a will and leave a charitable legacy in their community.
  • Share ideas and approaches to enhance their organizations’ long-term financial health.
