Eleanor and Nathan Berry Scholarship
Criteria: Graduating high school seniors who are residents of Berlin, Farmington, New Britain, Newington, Plainville and Southington pursuing four-year college degrees. Candidates will be industrious and well-rounded; will show evidence of young lives well spent and good scholastic records. Preference will be given to candidates planning to enter careers related to medicine or finance. An essay will carry strong weight in the selection process. Candidates are recommended by each high school in the towns named above. Final selection will be made by the Community Foundation Scholarship Committee.
