Dick Burkarth/Shuttle Meadow Country Club Scholarship
Criteria: Graduating high school seniors and students already attending an accredited university or college as full-time students, who are residents of Berlin, Farmington, New Britain, Newington, Plainville and Southington. Applicants will attend an accredited college or university to pursue a career related to golf: including but not limited to that of a golf professional, a golf course design professional, or a golf course superintendent. Additional criteria shall include: academic achievement, financial need, extracurricular activities, awards, golf-related activities and achievements and work history. An essay is required.
