Community Foundation of Greater New Britain Offers Seminar on Endowment Investing for Not-for-Profit Organizations
New Britain, Conn. (May 3, 2011) - The public is invited to attend a free seminar presented by John Merrill from The Investment Fund for Foundations (TIFF) on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at The Orchards at Southington from 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. The seminar examines an endowment investment model for not-for-profit organizations and educational institutions and is provided by the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain (CFGNB).
TIFF was founded in 1991 by a network of foundations that created a cooperative-style investment organization to assist non-profit organizations in seeking superior investment returns. TIFF is one of two investment managers selected by the Foundation last year to manage its $30 million corporate endowment portfolio. The Foundation chose TIFF for its cooperative endowment investment model and their long-term track record of superior investment performance.
