As Chair of the Community Foundation's Finance & Investment Committee, I am pleased to welcome you to our Finance and Investments Home Page. Here you will find links to detailed information regarding the Foundation’s investment philosophy, asset allocation policies, current investment performance and much, much more. 

Overall, our goal is to safeguard the funds of the Foundation and provide strong stewardship of its investments. The Community Foundation of Greater New Britain seeks to maximize dollars available for making grants--and to ensure that the charitable dollars entrusted to the Foundation are available to continue this work tomorrow and in perpetuity.  Robust development efforts and a diversified investment strategy enable the Foundation to meet both these objectives.

We are also strong believers in transparency and accountability, feeling that a full and complete disclosure of our policies, practices and results is fundamental to the trust we wish you to have in your Community Foundation.  I invite you to review our information carefully, and return to view our Quarterly updates throughout the year.  You are also most welcome to request additional information at any time from the Foundation’s President, James G.
